Apple-ginger crostata

Puff pastry
14 to 16 ounces
Apples, baking, thinly sliced
2
Sugar
3 tablespoons
Lemon juice, fresh
2 tablespoons
Ginger, freshly grated
2 teaspoons
Salt
Pinch
Ginger spread
Brushing
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 
  2. Unfold the pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet. 
  3. In a bowl, toss the apples with the sugar, juice, ginger, and salt. 
  4. Arrange the apples on top of the pastry, leaving a ½-inch border. 
  5. Bake for 30 minutes. 
  6. Brush the hot tart with the ginger spread.
