Egg noodles

Flour, all-purpose
2 ½ cups
Salt
Pinch
Eggs, beaten, room temperature

Milk, room temperature
½ cup
Butter, room temperature
1 tablespoon
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt; add eggs, milk, and butter.
  2. Knead dough until smooth, about 5 minutes; cover bowl, and let rest 10 minutes.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough out to 1/8 or ¼-inch thickness; cut in desired shapes or lengths.
  4. Air dry before cooking.
  5. Cook for 3 minutes in a large pot of boiling water with a pinch of salt.
