Butter | ¾ cup |
Brown sugar, packed | 1 cup |
Flour, all-purpose | 1 ¾ cups |
Salt | 1 teaspoon |
Baking soda | ½ teaspoon |
Oatmeal, uncooked | 1 ½ cups |
Blueberries, washed if fresh, or drained if canned | 2 cups |
Walnuts, chopped (optional) | ½ cup |
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Combine flour, salt, and soda in a separate bowl, and then mix it with the butter and sugar until well blended; add oatmeal.
- Press half of the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch pan.
- Spread blueberries over the mixture; sprinkle with the remaining oatmeal mixture, and then nuts.
- Bake 25 minutes; cool 5 minutes before cutting.
