Mom's meat sauce

Beef or buffalo, ground
1 pound
Oregano, ground
1 teaspoon
Basil, ground
½ teaspoon
Onions, chopped
1 cup
Garlic, finely chopped
3 cloves
Tabasco sauce
6 to 7 dashes
Tomato sauce
15 ounces
Water
1 cup
  1. Brown meat, drain, and return to pan.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, and bring to boil.
  3. Reduce to simmer, cook for about 30 minutes.
Serve with pasta, or Navajo fry bread for Indian tacos.

Recipe based on Mom's, and we both love to change and adapt as we go along.
